@ExpressGaming I know Swedish people who prefer to speak English to Finns cos thy don't like Swedish speakers apparently, it's the whole Swedish/Finnish rivalry thing. And yh, I agree, they do speak very good English!

@Annnabef9 If ur foreign and speak English they'll be super polite no matter what nationality u are, from my experience. I live there, and my apparently 'hard to understand' English accent gets me some positive attention, especially from the ladies ha

@roxpace "Is it really called civil war for Finl ?" No, the freedom war or civil war was 1918. Where did you get that tnformation? All cities have influences elsewhere. In Helsinki old town the most important architect was Johan Carl Ludvig Engel, who was a german and the style is neo-classic. And that style was in favour in many cities at that time. The dome has in fact many similarities to one church in Berlin.
