  • hi lm naturally a thin person with a small stomach, smaller than that in the video.

    what l really want is to get it really flat. l never exercise nor diet .will those workouts help since till be the first time lm trying working out

  • @PGabrielle100 Hi Gabrielle,

    When your stomach is thinner than that in the video then then it already IS flat. As you can see I still have a bit of fat under the skin, the lowest bulge when crunching is bigger than the others. When you pinch you skin just below the belly button and there is nothing but skin: That is as flat as it gets. Bellies which look almost sucked in like in music videos have a lot to do with light and posture. The skin in this area is naturally a bit lose because ... 2/3

  • @PGabrielle100 2/3... there the body is the most bendy and needs the extra skin to accomodate. People in those movies are professionals and know what poses and light works best to not show a single crease. Additionally there is a dilema. With NO or weak tummy muscles the intestines are not so neatly packed inside, tend to slip forward and make it look like a tummy - again that is a posture problem which can even cause back pain - I showed that in the 'Why Tummy Exercises' video. ...3/3

  • @PGabrielle100 3/3... If you get a really strong 6 pack you would gain a bit of circumfence as the muscles clearly show as a layer. So doing tummy exercises is a healthy and advisable thing, how far you want to go in getting big muslces is your choice - we girls have to train much harder than guys for that anyway. Personally I think muscles, although adding mass, give a flat appearance, but I have friends who think otherwise. It's a matter of individual aesthetics, I guess.

  • Hey Rika, I have a normal stomach, but I want a FLAT stomach. So I use the treadmill for 1 hour with a waist trimmer to try to get a flat stomach. If I do those tummy exercises everyday, will it get me a flat stomach? And also to get a flat stomach doing tummy exercises, how many minutes should I do it?

  • Hi Michelle, If you pinch the skin of your stomach when standing upright, you can actually feel how much fat is still there. If you feel that it is mostly skin then get a good massage oil and massage regularly, plus the tummy exercises. Treadmill will help burn fat. But have rest days as well - very important to make muscles recover and grow! At least twice a week. Flat stomach has a lot to do with posture as well. For that have a look at 'Why tummy exercises' video as well.

  • You have a cute tummy. I like how you expose it (;

  • Unfortunately you don't have a picture online to help identify from where the belly is coming. If you don't have fat anywhere else I am guessing that only a part of the belly is fat. I'm assuming muscle around the midriff are rather weak & cause bulging the organs out. Then the exercise would help. See if 'Why Tummy E♦xercises' might help you work on posture as well. Add some exercises to build muscle elsewhere, so you won't slim down in other areas while losing fat on tummy. All the best!

  • well i mean i dont really like having heavy muscles,i like to have a nice figure b ut i dont want to look muscular i dont like that so much even thou its very good for you i still don like the way it makes somebody look.

  • ... continued...

    Believe me, in doing a bit of resistance exercises you won't become as bulky as I am. I'm training hard with heavy weights several times a week. But you have to remain enough muscles to keep your tall figure healthy and in good shape. If you only focus on the belly and sacrifice legs and rear, you might have a flat front but still don't have a good shape. It's the whole package that sells ;o)

    Have a look at the leg exercises & the video that goes with it. You might like that.
