What is The Atheist Experience?

The Atheist Experience is a weekly cable access television show in Austin, Texas, geared at an atheist and non-atheist audience. The Atheist Experience is produced by the Atheist Community of Austin (ACA), a nonprofit educational corporation to develop and support the atheist community, to provide opportunities for socializing and friendship, to promote secular viewpoints, to encourage positive atheist culture, to defend the first amendment principle of state-church separation, to oppose discrimination against atheists and to work with other organizations in pursuit of common goals.

My Catholic priest taught me my morals!

Atheists many of them are philanthropists such as Dawkins who have set up Numerous Charities.

But I feel nihilistic a lot of the time but that's just my personality I don't consider other peoples moral codes we all go by a code of conduct whether we like it or not.

@drummerbadass1 I actually don't scream that god doesn't exist. It could very well be god does exist, I merely state the evidence for god's existence is insufficient and lacking and therefor I don't believe in it's existence. To say that something doesn't exist, it requires absolute knowledge which I don't possess and wouldn't be foolish enough to claim that I do. However it is just as foolish for you to assert that god does exist and that you know what it likes and dislikes.

@drummerbadass1 I'm sorry but your presumption is false & no, we shall not say that I am not sincere. Everyone has the capability of doing this. This is merely your way of trying to say "ha! You were never a christian, so whatever you say doesn't matter" when in fact I was christian for more than half my life & I abandoned the faith b/c I found it to be utter nonsense & not worth my time. Again you can scream to the mountain tops that I am insincere but it won't make you right.

@drummerbadass1 Why do I deserve everlasting torture because I don't believe something that isn't believable? Why does my torment and torture hinge on this insignificant part of my life? How is that justice served?

@drummerbadass1 You can't just blatantly label me as you see fit when you know nothing of my background. I used to believe in all of it, from the burning bush & noahs ark, water to wine & the crucifixion. Then one day I woke up and just didn't find any of it convincing or believable. I gave it up and I backed out of it. You can say I never believed but thats just you being dishonest and questioning my sincerity which you can do all you want, but it doesn't make you correct.

In fact it;s impossible to back out of!!!!! No you never did enlighten. You are one of the deaf and dumb unenlightened beings that refuses to open his heart towards God.. so far. @drummerbadass1 Wow, I've gotten many accusations from religious zealots, but I've never been accused of being Jewish. This is a first I must admit. Let me fill you in so you don't make yourself look so paranoid and foolish. I'm atheist, I don't have any belief in any god or any religion. I was brought up Southern Baptist, but gave it up when I was around 13-14 after I started questioning all the ridiculous stories I had been taught and my heritage is English/German so....
