basements can be in oklahoma but they dont make much basements in oklahoma but not in texas cause of the dirts

@dragonridley Because homes in Texas and Oklahoma arent built with basements, so if your house doesnt have a storm shelter installed in the concrete slab when your house is built then the outdoor-undergrounds are the next best option. Actually nowadaysyou can get them put into your garage floor. They just bring in a concrete saw, dig a hole, drop it in then pour concrete on top of it and you have a little door in your garage floor.
