Beautiful and marvellous dance of the ancestors. At least the Somali have preserved their ancestral Language, Dance and much more. Besides, now they have also started realising the need to take back their own Ancestral Beliefs in order to free themselves from any imperial religion because imperial and colonial religions are psychological manipulations for economic domination and expansion. Islam came from the Middle East but the Somali are African and black in colour.

Somalis are not 'black' whatever that blanket term means, we are African and Somali in our ethnicity. PS our ancestral language is closely related to Arabic, yes, we have preserved our culture, but to understand the Somal is to understand all the other cultures that have contributed to it, including the Arabs. Islam was brought for the whole of mankind. I am proud to be both Somali and Muslim. Alhamdulilah

Go do some research, Somali's have never been psycholigically enslaved, Arabs came, traded and intermarried with them, they accepted Islam without it being imposed on them, hence why we have still kept our culture. This culture is not incompatible with Islam.

Somalis are neither arabs nor africans, and besides that Somalis have no any link with negroid+niolitic+afro-asianic cultures, but there exists many attempts to dilute the Somali race with heterogeneous ethnic groups harvested from artificial countries (the likes of kenya and ethiopia),evidentyly such experimentations failed in the past and will be so in the near future. It is the ANCESTORS who are the GODS, nobody else. Millions of years ago the Somali, just like all Africans considered that the ancestors alone were GODS and respected as well as asked them for anything they wanted. But, when peoples and lands left their ancestors and took foreign Gods the lands started turning into desert. Look at Arab lands, all desert. Somaliland used to be a tropical forest but now it is a desert.
