Could you tell me whether "1000" on the tank is a sticker or a paint job? I have the same model and mine is a sticker. I'm curious if sticker is original finishing?

Son of a bitch, so that's what my bike would look like if I washed it, too cool!! I love the old thing, it's the best riding bike I've been on bar none. I have over 100K miles on it now and gave an Aprilia Tuono rider all he wanted on a nice twisty mountain road here. I think what disconcerted him was I had my small dog on the tank perch I made her while we were playing. That dog can ride better then 99% of the people on bikes LOL. You make me feel guilty, I really need to clean up my bike.

Thats is a better looking bike than the early GS oilheads like my GS1100... NICE!
