This video is elsewhere on YouTube, and I made some comments there... but it bears repeating here. ;O)
Miami Vice came first. All the music in SOTB2 that features guitar is put together from random guitar APART from this piece. I was sent a C60 cassette (remember those!?) with music on (this track) and told to copy it by Reflections. So, I did! The then M.D. of Reflections was a big Miami Vice fan, so it all makes sense now. ;O)

0:21 ok, which one of them is Aarbron?

@xevious2501 Except I believe this one wasn't composed by Jan Hammer... it was composed by Tim Truman, or so I'm told.

@coldstoragevideo wow now it all makes sence.. obviously your tracks for Reflections/Psygnosis were/Are simply classic (i even keep some in my ipod) but i the game track was sampled from a real guitar and more than likly sourced from some great metal ballet. the only problem which one? and after seeing this vid i realised it was ORIGINALLY created by none other than Jan Hammer
-
WOW i never knew that, but it makes sense. Vices Jan Hammer music.

This should be called "The Ponytail Theme".
they likely share a common origin.

@olllj
Did you read the comments by the composer himself?
"I was sent reference music for "game over", and told to copy it by Reflections. At the time I had no idea where it had come from... but you can rest easy, all my other music in SOTB II is original. :O)"

I'm sorry, I always realized that... I should have been more clear in the title of the video and specified that I'm talking about the game over tune only.

Before anyone asks... nope, I wasn't aware it was copyright, nor indeed composed by someone else called Tim (what are the chances of that?). Nice tune though... guess that's why they wanted me to copy it(!)

Ah, that explains a lot! Thanks for posting, really interesting.
Lots of good memories from these games, primarily because of the music!
