McConnell: Government Option on Health Care Means Government Takeover

Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell discusses Democrats' plans for a "government option" on health care on the floor of the Senate, saying: "Americans need to realize that when someone says 'government option,' what could really occur is a government takeover that could soon lead to government bureaucrats denying and delaying care and telling Americans what kind of care they can have."

Mitch McConnell has received taxpayer-funded healthcare all his adult life, he just doesn't want everyone else to have it. He is an abomination. Kentucky is the third poorest state in the country, and 15 percent of the population doesn't have healthcare. And they are hard-working people—farmers, small business owners, like concrete and construction companies, restaurant employees—who simply can't afford it. I hope this is the catalyst that finally gets this a-hole out of office.
