@AverageJoeCinema my friend went to Japan and took historical tours where the tour guides indicated that the Japanese were the victors of the war (how ironic) lol It's easier to paint a darker color especially when the US was savagely attacked while remaining neutral.. in the end, Japan got their ass handed to them and indeed awoken a sleeping giant

However, the Allies (especially the US) didn't look at and treat the Japanese war crimes and criminals the same way as they did to Nazi war crimes and criminals.

That's why the Allies hastily wrapped up the Tokyo War Crimes Trials (which is practically a copy of the definitions of the Nuremberg Trials) even by making many political decisions which made many key war crimes and criminals unpunished and the Japanese Imperialists and Imperialism uncleaned.

the part where the narrator is comparing Hirohito to powers that all other leaders possess, makes him sound like a retard..first off, even in 1940s, Christianity was just a symbol.Other than that it was pure bullshit and everybody knew that. Secondly, americans knew japan had become a militant country controlled by military leaders

I don't think there was anything is this video that was exaggerated or really untrue. In fact it probably left a lot of stuff out. I know there's more to it but that WAS a rather accurate portrayal of the Japanese at the time.
