UPDATE FROM KSTP-TV:
Woman Reported Missing Never Left Woodbury Facility
After a ten-hour search, a 75-year-old woman was found in a room at the Woodbury care center that reported her missing.

Betty Murphy was reported missing at 9 p.m. Monday.

Workers at the Woodbury Health Care Center told police they thought she had walked away from the building. The Woodbury Police and Fire Departments sent out 60 people to look for her and the State Patrol helicopter assisted in the search.

But, Murphy never left the building. Police said Murphy was found 7:40 a.m. Tuesday in a room at the facility. Police said she appeared to be okay.

Officials at the facility blamed a miscount of the residents. Murphy climbed into the bed of a woman who recently died. The nurse doing the count was unaware that the woman had died and mistook Murphy for the other woman.

The initial missing-person report raised concern because Murphy suffers from dementia and had only been living at the facility for about one week.
