My Yellow-Sided Green Cheek Conure Bode, Pineapple GCC Ruby, and blue Budgie Cooper(she thinks she's a Conure) walking around on the kitchen floor. NOTE: Don't let your birds walk on the floor! They are quiet and you can easily step on them and hurt or kill them!
Mine followed me into the kitchen from their cage and as they are not flighted, they couldn't make it to my shoulder so they landed on the floor. Despite my complaining they do this often. This was the first time Cooper followed them to the floor and I didn't want to miss this moment! The Conures try to hurt the Budgies, but Cooper has an undying love for them and thus follows them everywhere and even mimics their sounds.

  • are their wings clipped?

  • @WackySquirrels The Conures have clipped wings, and the Budgies do not. The Conures like to attack the Budgies, so we let the Budgies be flighted so they can escape from Bode and Ruby.

  • Looks like my budgie Pluto and Pineapple Peaches.... There so cute wen they waddle along the floor like that

  • @217cmiller They are so cute when they walk! The Conures didn't do it in this video, but sometimes they do that adorable little hop across the floor- I love it so much! Cooper just follows Ruby and Bode; sometimes she will fly onto the floor by herself and pick things out of the carpet. Makes me feel self-conscious like my floor is dirty, but she does it even when I have just vacuumed! I imagine she picks tiny pieces of dirt out or something? No floor is truly ever clean it seems...
