Can beans be composted? This is a question that some may ponder. This is a really good question. Beans should be fine to be composted - but some rules of thumb are to bury them underneath other kitchen scraps, and then put leaves back over them - this will help prevent any pests in general.

However, you should be fine composting beans, as we explain the how and why in this video.
