Does anyone know what kind of Bass Dan Pearson is playing in this video? I've never seen one with 3 strings before!

In the AMC biography they mention the photos inside the liner notes of Mercury, I will have to look that one up and post it here.

O, the memories. There was a time when American Music Club was the greatest band on earth (only slight hyperbole). And living in SF then meant AMC shows aplenty and running into Eitzel at the local bars. Many shows from this era and earlier would leave one just absolutely devastated. That's how good they were. I have to admit though that I've taken a nice long break. Living and breathing AMC can have some serious emotional health consequences, ha ha. Yet, so nice to see this clip. What memories.
