Hi Greg, Well done for speaking out. I am an ME sufferer. I recently won my appeal against DWP, this has taken about a year. I would say that this a tough road to walk, dealing with the illness and then with DWP/ATOS. In reflection what disturbs me why did it take a year to sort out. What would have it condition had worsened. The Judge who presided over this case has given me the go ahead to sue DWP for maladministration.

case 2 , a mentally handicapped woman aged 34 . yes thats right PC brigade i,m using the real term i,m not going to trivialise the condition by calling it LD , dont like it TOUGH, she also had benefits stopped, apparently fit for work ...she has several fits a day .. another strongly worded letter, always send by recorded delivery always take the names of any stuffed shirts you talk to. if you can take legal action then do it. form groups, she had her benefits reinstated,

Someone says dont panic, its a load of claptrap. two cases for you A 58 yr old man paid into the system all his life, has far advanced cancer, Atos"doctor" says he is fit for work, all benefits/dla stopped next pay.....no heating , no food ,a man of 58 sobbing like a baby . a man that cannot stand up because he is so week ..benefits were reinstated after a strongly worded letter . with a threat of possible legal action , take legal action against these moronic stuffed shirts!

PLEASE DONT TAKE IT THE WRONG WAY BUT I CAN SEE YOU HAVE A HEALTH PROBLEM & I DONT EVEN KNOW YOU,I FEEL SORRY THAT YOU ARE BEING PUT UNDER EXTREME STRESS BY THE DWP WHEN YOU ARE SO OBVIOUSLY UNWELL & ANYONE WITH HALF A BRAIN CELL WOULD KNOW THAT STRESS DOES MAKE IT MUCH WORSE.!! THE DWP CAN BE SUED. LEGAL ACTION IS AFFORDABLE IF THERE ARE GROUPS OF YOU,.PLEASE I HOPE YOU FIND PEOPLE CAN CAN FIGHT YOUR CORNER .

@ deadgirldreaming, yeah. Channel 4 producers are pretty quick at replying. I contacted them once, but about something different. Jobcentres are no benefit to us. I have I.B.S and they dgaf if i'm in pain. Screw them idiots, man

"your going to get better within a year" - Where exactly did they get this idea from? What concrete and empirical proof do they have to back up this ridiculous claim? And how exactly are we supposed to do G.E.T when we can't even sit up, let alone leave the house and make it to a centre to receive this "therapy" ??? Ignorant fools :(

so we need a whistleblower within the psychology/psychiatric institutions, an undercover journalist to expose the truth of what is happening right now and what has happened in the past leading to putting people in the severe category,use the sites to lobby MP's,get the 'tissue of lies' pamphlets(know you're working on it Greg)to every MP.You're doing a briliant job Greg and Linda.
