Doris Hanson and Sandra Tanner discuss Doctrine and Covenants 132 on Polygamous Celestial Marriage. Verse 1 immediately is problematic as there is no biblical indicication that Isaac or Moses were polygamist.
D&C 132 :1 VERILY, thus saith the Lord unto you my servant Joseph, that inasmuch as you have inquired of my hand to know and understand wherein I, the Lord, justified my servants Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, as also Moses, David and Solomon, my servants, as touching the principle and doctrine of their having many wives and concubines—

  • Complete rubbish, Doris and Sandra should shut up.

  • @liverpoolone100

Do some research yourself and try using your brain cells before speaking such drivvle.

The LDS church is a lying cult and nothing more.

  • I don't intent commenting much. But you are a creep ( typical of some slimey Mormon men).

How do you know that Moses's first wife hadn't died before he married the Ethiopian woman? Mormon men like you are just SICK animals trying to defend and justify at any cost the barbaric polygamous tyrants like Brigham Young and Heber C Kimball.

Did you know the girls were threatened into these arranged mariages much in the same way as the FLDS leaders do today?

    Shame on you.

  • The FLDS & LDS MORMON LAW of POLYGAMY it is in there MORMON scriptures called Doctrine & Covenants

D&C 132:61 And again, as pertaining to the law of the priesthood-if any man espouse a virgin, and desire to espouse another, and the first give her consent, and if he espouse the second, and they are virgins, and have vowed to no other man, then is he justified; he cannot commit adultery for they are given unto him; for he cannot commit adultery with that that belongeth unto him and to no one else.

  • Great video! What is the date of this? Looks quite recent. By the way, anyone reading my comments here, I would highly recommend the website to the right under 'more info' - wivesofjosephsmith.

  • Early lds leaders were adulterous liars, today they are self righteous profiteers

  • Joseph Smith was a falanderer. Simple.

He threatened his own wife Emma in the (D&C in verse 6) if she did not accept Polygamy. He was not a prophet. He was a fraud and therefor the LDS faith is not true. Joseph Smith used the bible to help create his own ideology. The power of the Priesthood is a rationalization for having many women. Ridiculous.

  • Ok read the bible... Moses practice polygamy.... read it.....

  • ""You educate a man; you educate a man. You educate a woman; you educate a generation."

     Brigham Young

  • @liverpoolone100 , well by all means, give us polygamy 101 from liverpool

  • @LDStothecore I think you should capitalize The Pig Doris. Let's talk about your magic underwear sometime when you aren't smoking crack.

  • @KraftwithaK Are you the pig Doris? She is one of the worst liars, hypocrites. You don't know what Joseph Smith was up to. The Bible does never say we would have no more prophets. We certainly do need prophets. Why do you think there is so much confusion, even among all the "Christian" churches? You simply don't understand what the LDS Church teaches or believes.

  • @LDStothecore I'm disgusting because I quote the Bible or because I actually know what JS was up to? I don't think there have been prophets since Jesus. We don't need prophets anymore. Unlike members of the LDS, I think Jesus is all we need from here on out, thanks. LDS members think the Son of God wasn't enough. Here's your fruits, calling people who disagree with you "disgusting". Move along.
