Arnbjørg Magnuson grew up with a dream. As a child he would ride in the back of his parents' Saab where he became completely enamored by the latch that allowed the back seat to fold. The infatuation with release latch led to a lifelong pursuit of a career in automotive engineering.
After years in school in Sweden and proving himself as a competent engineer, Magnuson landed his dream job as Avdelningschef föda upp sätta dörrklinka forska och utveckling (Head of rear seat latch research and development) for Saab. However, the dream would not last long. Saab, which fell victim to the financial meltdown of 2009, was forced to halt production, leaving Magnuson jobless and having never completed his first latch, which many industry insiders claimed would have revolutionized the rear seat latch market in northern Europe.
But, with "hope on the horizon" Magnuson is looking to make his mark finally on the auto industry as the world's first human wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube man.
