Samurai Warriors 3 Nagamasa Ch.5 Odani Castle (English)

Nagamasa Azai at Odani Castle, English gameplay.

This is more or less a run-through in how to get Nagamasa's 4th weapon, which is not all that difficult. If you saw my earlier Masamune video you will notice that Odani Castle is an exact copy of Hasedo, right down to the textures (at least Ishigaki Plains and Kasai-Osaki Uprising use different textures). Also, unlike Hasedo, Odani Castle is not available in Free Mode.

Nagamasa as portrayed in this game is 'innocent' and 'naive', and has a certain 'blind faith' toward Nobunaga. He firmly believes Nobunaga has what it takes to unify Japan, and later asks Ieyasu to support him in his place (note: both Nagamasa and Ieyasu are daimyo-- lords-- in their own right as opposed to Hideyoshi, who was a subordinate of Nobunaga). Many of the Oda officers by this point of the story have some kind of understanding why Nagamasa is doing what he is doing, but are unable to persuade him to back down.

Historically Nagamasa is an interesting person. Beside his placement in Nobunaga's rise to power both as an ally and as an enemy, he is also the grandfather of Hideyori Toyotomi, conceived between Hideyoshi and Nagamasa and Oichi's daughter, Chacha, and the grandfather of Shogun Iemitsu Tokugawa, conceived between Hidetada Tokugawa and another daughter, Oeyo.

Another of his daughters, Hatsu, was married to Takatsugu Kyogoku, who is featured at Otsu Castle in this game.
