this house no longer feels like home.

So who'd have thought that I would be able to finish a video in 2011? Yeah me neither. BUT here we are and to blame is a single person:

my absolutely lovely friend Veronika (KichaaSDL), who survived my 100's of betas and still continued to encourage me though I couldn't get anything past the 1 minute mark. Also, I thought this song fitted something simple, and I know you like that nearly-no-effects-stuff, pluuuus you are my only friend who appreciates How to train your dragon just as much as I do. And last of all I love you very much.

My inspiration was this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qRWvMg-sOcg&list=FL5Bx1gFZqydbKU6zeB1UGhw&... , and as you can see I cut the song a bit, but I still consider this finished because it just kept repeating itself and that kind of bored me a bit. Also I really wanted to finish this before the year ends. whoooops actually I don't think I have anything more to day, sooooo bear a little bit longer with me, cause I am not giving up on desole just yet! :D

PS: If anyone uses Sony Vegas 11, does it really suck so much or is that just me not getting shit? Like everytime I blured a clip as video fx, not a transition, when I closed the file and next time reopened it my blur settings were all set back on the first track-thingy?! that was just really annoying, so if anyone knows how to fix that, feel free to enlighten me.

The 'halos' were brilliant, and so were the overlays! 2:05 onwards was definitely my favourite: It was brilliant sequence of Hiccup's most important moments. And usually montages of 'major' scenes just feel kind of cliche, but you built up to it so well and the colours were just right and the song was just spot on that it felt like a really good connection. The sweeping rhythm combined with Hiccup's dizzying movements walking the lines Toothless drew...very seamless. And the ending. Perfect!
