@pcimin00 Theres more News today when I watch 1 hour KGO 7 News than there are on CNN, Fox and MSNBC conbined because the Cable Networks are selling propaganda. CNN, MSNBC and Fox should be labled infomercials for politicians.

Where are the Angles? And I don't hear Charlie's voice coming out of the intercom.

very professional

I want to see Grimsby actually anchoring the News at KGO-TV in San Francisco. I noticed Grimsby coined the Happy Talk Format of ABC O&O's like KGO and WABC as Kickers Guts and Orgasms standing for his criticism of KGO's Management before Van Amburg took over his San Francisco Spot.

Good job, everybody! I'll see you over at Studio 54!

This is used for BBC-2/City2's "Balita Ngayon" from 1978-86.

Video editors babying a reporter, BEFORE AVID and other video editing software came along, and along with that cam one-man band reporters.
Computers making everything better and faster, unlike back in the day, where it was only typewriters and film cameras (with no computer capabilities)

@wmbrown6 - I believe that is Bruce King, who did a short stint (one year +/-) at WABC.

At least that WABC and the other Local TV Newscasts didn't knee jerk like the Cable Tabloids do today.
What's Dr. Frank Field doing in the promo? He didn't work for WABC.

I posted this ... I'm in it ... and I don't see Dr. Frank. Probably could have/should have been a mention of his son, Dr. Storm ield, but that's second-guessing after more than a quarter century.
