Former Virginia Governor Jim Gilmore, now a candidate for the U.S. Senate, addresses about 500 GOP activists at the party's annual advance in Arlington on December 1, 2007. (Note the demonstration by supporters of presidential candidate Ron Paul beginning at 4 mins 10 secs.)
I thought he was running for President in '08. Oh that's right, the whopping 200k he raised wasn't enough to buy bumper stickers, let alone airfare for his 'staff' to Iowa.
So he's actually going to run against Mark Warner for Senate? In Virginia? Does Gilmore not understand that most voters in Virginia actually lived through his disastrous administration?
Should be an early night in November. Don't quit your lobbying job Jim.

Vote for Family Values??... You're Pro-Abortion, ol' Gilly... You didn't raise taxes. There is still a car tax last I checked.
No more empty promises backed by nothing more than glittering generalities and "feel-good" politics. How about "do good" ?
