Full Of Rust and Dirt (WAS past tence...)
The start of the long journey that is classic car rebuilding.. This was started in 1998 and is by no means finished.. Have got it painted and assembled but still a long way to go. I have owned this car since I was
18 and it had a hard life. I ended up buying
an XC ex-police interceptor (see other uploads) but one day will get it powered up under its own steam...

  • Hi i have a xa wagon and the rear arches are gone, does anybody know how i can sort this with out trying to make my own,all help required im stuck ..Thanks ..

  • Nice work m8, I would love to learn that skill

  • Good shit! Same rusty spots as my heap. Got to hate the amount of layers in the sucker too, nightmare to do each skin layer.

Get a magnet on a stick and wiggle it round in the base of the pilars, see what you can pick out, then pour a heap of rust killer down through the top under the roof.

  • Nice metal work and hats off to your dedication, it's the same old story... If you have a coupe, in any state, it's repairable because the alternative, crushing it, is just unthinkable! Anyone that owns one would do the same, I got mine as a shitbox in 1997 (also when I was 18) and I didn't finish doing it up and re-regoing it till 3 years ago, but really, they are never a finished... Ever, and that's kinda fun too!

  • That's dedication, most people would put that in the unrepairable bucket, well done!

  • Seeing the state of this coupe makes me appreciate mine! but ay a coupe is a coupe, if it can be fixed, fix it. Nice metal work.
