Katherine, Anne, Elizabeth: the Women who Shaped a Kingdom

This is basically the story of how Katherine and Anne were very similar in their treatment by Henry, and how their daughters (especially Elizabeth) made everything right again.

I'm really not a Seymour lover, but I added her to show the similarities in Katherine and Anne's position.

Yup, it's funny really because I bet that now, after everything is said and done. I bet that Anne and Catherine would probably respect each other and even get along now. They probably both head of the "I Hate Henry" club. I my oppinion Catherine and Anne were my fav of all his wives, the rest sort of fell flat compared to them. IMO Catherine was the better queen, BUT Anne was the better match for him. Her ego and strength matched Henry's tenfolds. She was very bold and ambitious, just like him.

I think Katherine wasnt a good queen cause she didnt participate in politics, she was good wife, but those arent the qualities that make a woman of her position to be a good queen. I think that Anne demonstrated what is the meaning of being a good queen: she was strong, intelligent and made a lot of good things and that's why people nowadays love and venerate her; she gave money to poor people, made the protestant reformation and break down with the catholic church (good thing in my opinion)...

It's funny that Queen Elizabeth was Queen AB's daughter,yet ruled and carried herself in a manner similar to Queen Katherine. Stoic at all times,never let them see you sweat,and maintain dignity at all times,that was Queen Elizabeth.

Yet here's Queen Mary,being rash,not thinking things through and letting emotion get the best of her,just like her hated stepmama,Queen Anne Boleyn.

@zokerYprincess well to be honest i think the opposite in fact not only did Katherine of Aragon participate in politics, but also was regent and lead a suceccesful battle Scotland. She had all tha makings of a queen she had the wisdom and strength in order to rule. Although Anne was a strong and intelligent women she let her emotion get the best of her which is sometimes not the best thing to do.

@lilmizzspac i wouldnt say she was a bad queen but both Katherine of aragon and Katherine Parr were by far better queens then her. Anne was a women a head of her time but she let her emotions get the most of her which is not a good thing for a ruler.

@miznikkijohnson LOL I don't have the time to get into it now but, I'll say two things. She is certainly a copy of her father and as for history. It's amusing sometimes how history an politics distorts historical facts because of Political bias, especially religious propaganda to fit the political an religious mindset of today. Yes I say Long Live Elizabeth too, Charles wouldn't be suitable as king or Camilla as Queen. I look forward to Prince Will's an Kates wedding!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

@omega70007 he was in love with anne he did not just marry her for a male heir he was in love with this woman and even though she did some mean things to mary, she was a loveable queen and did everything a queen should do and most do
