@Polyhistor23 They're both about the same as far as human limitations go. Vasili Alexeyev could Front Squat 325 Kilos, or 715 Pounds. True, Warrick Brant has Front Squatted 770 but he only was wearing wraps. Scott Mendelson's 715 Pound Raw Bench Record has yet to be broken. So the Bench is at worst a little more than 90% of what one can lift and at best equal to or, depending on one's build, over what one can Front Squat.

lmao the sound of someone dropping weight off camera is timed perfectly with when he touches hes chest.

@irishstomp you're stupid dude..converse are great..IF you don't have weightlifting shoes. There's a huge difference between converse and olympic lifting shoes, and you'll notice it once you lift in weightlifting shoes. There's a reason they cost so much..it's because they're better than converse. Converse and vans are a good substitute, but not quite the real thing.

i'm not sure that he is the "weightlifter" chigiscev

@pezhed0987 I don't need to find someone, I front squat ATG in Converse twice a week.
We're talking about competition, but since you brought it up, I think plenty of weightlifters could C&J just fine in Converse. In fact, I believe that they're superior to any other shoe for all pulls off of the floor.
Since Converse are superior for pulling off of the floor and a person with adequate mobility/flexibility can front squat in them, there's no reason not to use them in competition.

@irishstomp k, this is u tube so i'll believe you if you find somebody going ass to heels in converse. To parallel, yes, theres some guy that did like 300kgs in what i think were converse, but theres a reason u don't see them in oly. competitions
feet on bench with no stop is still harder than feet on ground with stop. bigger ranger of motion because ther is no arch in the torso. also you are not as stable on the bench compared to having your feet planted firmly on the ground.

Weightlifters normally can frontsquat MUCH more than hey can benchpress!
And if normal people have the frontsquat in their usual routine they can fs more than benchpress too!
