If it's not talking about God then who do you think he's talking about?

He didn't say "You are loved...by a friend that you don't remember but I do"

If you think you aren't loved then you probably have a good idea about what you're talking about--he directed this song towards ALL HIST LISTENERS. That includes people with NO friends. AT ALL. I know people like that. What about them?
