are you kidding these people are happy about a couple thousand barrels of oil HAHA what a joke. This is literaly a drop in the bucket for america. America uses 20 million barrels a day... 7 billion a year. Not to mention that the process of refining oil shale is costly, requires vast amounts of water which utah does not have, and it pollutes the area

There is a major problem with this however.

America in her infinite wisdom has given most of the rights to our Oil Shale to the Royal Shell company, owned by Queen Beatrix.

Plus its Americas position that they would rather use up all the Middle Eastern oil first before turning to our own massive reserves.

That way the entire world will have to come to us to get their oil, and by the time that happens, developing countries will be driving more and Saudi Arabia will allow women to drive.
