  • I'm pretty sure this song is a satire of when people used to pay to see female asylum inmates in Victorian times.

  • Does anyone know when FLAG is going to be released? I need it. O.O

  • It sounded more lively and addicting live during her performances.

  • ohhh god i really hope this comes out on the album as good as it was live...... O.o

  • This is awsome

  • i absoluteley cannot wait for the london show in april in my haste i got ordinary tickets but i wish has learnt sooner about the vip ones D: oh well atleast i get to see her and the rest of the bloody crumpets live cannot wait.

  • heard this live at kansas city beaumont club!!! it was fantastic! >w<

  • I can't wait! Seeing Emilie Autumn live is something I'm determined to do! :D

  • @xXHelloPersonXx From seeing lyrics and hearing things, this album is going to be very rock-operaish. It's going to be heavy and dark, but still have that EA whimsy, like this song. The album will be heavily based on her book.

  • In my opinion, I think that this album is going to be amazing, although, it will be nothing like Opheliac, the theme has changed alot. And whenever I listen to this song, I always feel like it has a circus type theme to it.

  • @oliviaisgod Yes. It is definitely this. Emilie said herself that people will have had to have listened to Opheliac a lot AND read the Asylum book once or twice to truly understand this album, and I've read the book. It makes a LOT of sense. I could sit here and list all the references I've heard in just what we know of the songs so far, but it would take too long, LOL. It's especially apparent if you look at the lyrics to "Gaslight."

  • @JordanRMartin I agree! I knew it was going to be different, but still along the same lines of Opheliac in theme... I thought it was going to go downhill, and while I'll probably still like Opheliac better in general--though I can't say that for sure yet--Fight Like a Girl is going to be great. It's just so... EMILIE. XD I will never expect disappointment from any of her future releases ever again. I mean, look how much time she puts into her records! Why wouldn't it be great? :D
