for me every kind of music comes from God.. the devil came "to steal, kill and destroy" (John 10:10); he stole every good thing that God created, for his own glory. the words matter; the spirit of the songwriters matters. even if the song is mellow, but the songwriter doesn't please God in his/her life, it isn't glorifying.

It's funny how all these people saying "this isn't glorifying God" aren't coming up with a single passage of scripture backing up what they are saying is truth. Just because you don't like the style of music, does not make it an abomination to Christ. The genre is not what Christ looks at, he looks at what's in the heart. Hymns honor God just as much as this song does, and you are foolish and ignorant to think different.

Sometimes it's not worth it arguing these things with people. All genres music was created by God. Don't be fooled, the devil has stole away somethings that already was the church's own and some Christians were led to believe that things like rock music is evil only because of what? The devil used it first! Any Holy Spirit Filled person who is living for God would know that real worship comes from the heart and not from a genre.

doOD ALWAYS LOOKS AT THE HEART. let them sing that way for only GOD can say they are truly worshipping. There are different ways to worship HIM and it is true worship as long as your heart is set on GOD alone! :DD TO GOD BE THE GLORY ^_^
