Charlotte did well.

@macsrule94 Why? Everybody really seems to like it. It's more affordable than driving, clean, and convenient for business travelers, commuters, and for fun trip to town with friends.
-
We ride the light rail just for fun for the kids. Does not have much use for us because we do not live near-by. What I do not know is the financial impact of building and operating the system in a city the size of Charlotte. Anyway, thanks for posting.

well good for them, yall are just sooo much cooler than us dumb southerners down here, go ahead and say what you really mean dude.....geesh, and while you're at it, tell your neighbors to find jobs before actually moving here. Jesus.

Thats not HSR , thats pathic excuse , only 110......The NEC & Keystone corridor average at 130 and max at 140-50. Future Average 150 and max 150-190.

Nice....Charlotte recently got funded to build high speed rail to Raleigh and on to DC.
-
yup and in 10 years almost every NE major city should have at least one rail connection.
-
The majortiy of the northeast was developed before the car was invented.
I´m glad that some US cities are clever and they build new public transport systems! I think deleting tram systems in 50s was very stupid decision!

We can agree on that , but the Majority of the Northeast didn't
