Also, why does she spend most of the beginning facing upstage?? POOR stage direction. Guess that might not be entirely Bev's fault.....

Never seen a tackier looking Violetta. Hair is straight out of an eighties pageant, and totally fried with bleach. And her acting is so forced. Stage hog -I don't understand the appeal at all. Most of her performances leave me unmoved and unimpressed. I find her disingenuous. Voice is impressive and she obviously worked hard to achieve a level of excellence in her singing, but everything else is just, meh.

Beverly is the GREATEST!!! Her voice is amazing, even if it had lost its youthful freshness it achieved a sophistication and maturity that are at least as riveting. She does not act Violetta, she IS Violetta. BRAVA DIVA!!!!!!!

Potenza , estensione,colore,una ottimo esempio di come si esegue Traviata.Inoltre la Sills da carattere elevato a questa traviata,non volgare come usa oggi.Il fatto poi che lei cantando sorride sempre da la giusta leggerezza di sentimento che uno si aspetta mentre si canta "sempre libera".Le cantanti di oggi che anche non potendoselo permettere fanno traviata(dessay,Netrebko ecc) . Dovrebbero imparare lo stile d queste grandi cantanti e non fare opere che alla fine sono solo capaci di rovinare
