Lay a circle down on the ground.
for each block in that circle, make that the center of another circle.
Stack circles up, while moving to another block at each level. this gives you offset circles which are in the shape of a circle, hence the spiral.
I'm not sure if you can make any sense of that, but it's the best i can do!

How do you move the camera around like this? So smoothly, and through the air and such. Is there a program I can download that will allow me to do this?

Use the F8 key to toggle cinematic movement. Turn your mouse sensitivity WAY down, like as low as it goes. Then I used Zombe's mod for flying and changed the config file so that default flight speed was very slow. Hope this helps!
