Man, are you seriously comparing Cryengine 3 on the PS3 and Xbox to Unreal engine on the PC? Youve got to be kidding me...
Plus, the website where I found this video actually had some screenshots from cryengien '2', stating that it is 3. -,,,-

@GarryRat but they released A LOT of updates. This year, they released the DX11 update.

@bmabs35 I was talking about Unreal Engine 3 of course. The point is that Unreal Engine 3 was already developed and in use for years before Cry Engine 3 was even unnounced, so Unreal Engine 3 was oriented on older hardware during development and it's not really fair to compare them in a competitive manner.

Water wise, I think ue3 wins it. But overall, ce2 looks better.

This isn't even a fair comparison because UE3 is pretty old. Also both engines are pretty great.

Several games based on unreal engine don't support AA = fail

to be honest, the demonstration of UR3 hyped up a bunch of people for GoW2. in the demonstration, everything looked amazing, the water looked actualy like a fluid, the stress tests on materials was awesome. but when i played GoW2 for the first time, i noticed that those were all GONE. when you shot at the water, it ws the same gay particle effect, when you shot at buildings, it was only certain pieces were breakable. srsly, wtf. ive never seen the CE in action
