Think of the Lynxmotion series of servo brackets as a variety of different modular parts for servos that essentially allows you to build your own custom robot. Lynxmotion is known best for its modular metal brackets that are used to make the frames of a variety of different robots.

  • What I don't get is why a piece of bent aluminium costs over $12 before shipping costs.

  • @Nomoreidsleft Currently only a fraction of the population is prepared to learn how to use such products and as such they are not massed produced on the same scale as "generic" products like forks / spoons and even LCD displays. Therefore the machinery used to make this type of part is very different than if it were to be made at a rate of 50 per minute, which increases the price.

  • :D i want one(you program with computer?)

  • You can program it directly using a computer, or you can send it signals from a microcontroller or othe rdevice.

  • @RobotShopTV im interested in buying one, how do i program it ?

  • @LucifersDisciple6 Lynxmotion suggests using the SSC-32 servo controller. This on its own is primarily used to repeat the servo signals so they move and/or maintain their positions. You can connect the SSC-32 to your computer and use a normal programming language to send commands to the SSC-32, or you can connect it to a microcontroller. The SSC-32 accepts serial commands so as long as the programming language can send serial commands, you an use it (C, Basic, Java, etc.)
