The Single-Leg SLDL is a challenging functional exercise that develops an athletes entire posterior chain, engages the core (especially at the hip), decreases the load on the back, and can really develop functional strength in the glutes & hamstrings. Once an athlete demonstrates good form for a few weeks, don't be shy to load this exercise with heavy dumbbells!
