HRH Prince Henry of Wales today (5th November 2010) launched the 'Soldier Challenge' which will take place in March. Volunteers who sign up will get an insight into the life of a serving soldier through a series of military-themed tasks and physical challenges, while raising much needed funds for ABF The Soldier's Charity.

Alongside serving soldiers and their families at the London Imperial War Museum, Prince Harry was joined by famous adventurer and Chief Scout , Bear Grylls, as well as Scouts from across the UK, who were getting stuck in to raise the profile of the adrenalin-fuelled fundraising event next year.

The 'Soldier Challenge' will be held on 26th March 2011 in London. Anyone over the age of 16 can sign up to the event which will consist of 35 challenges across the capital including activities such as an obstacle course in the moat at the Tower of London, abseiling in the City and leopard crawling through Leicester Square. A small fee to take part and sponsorship of the event will raise critical funds for ABF The Soldier's Charity which provides grants to offer lifetime support to soldiers who have served in both current and past conflicts.
