SpyOnVegas' Bottle Rock-It launched at the Red Rock Pool Saturday 07-05-08. For those of you that made it, you're welcome. For those of you that missed it, here's a little recap: After jamming for an hour with his aptly-named Blues Ball Band, Slash invited Jerry Cantrell (Alice In Chains), Jason Bonham (son of late Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham...UFO , Foreigner , Jimmy Page's Outrider Band) and Royston Langdon (Spacehog) to the stage. They covered Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here" after playing the epic Alice in Chain's "Rooster." Slash then welcomed to the stage Jane's Addiction frontman Perry Farrell who wailed Stevie Wonder's "Superstition" and Guns N' Roses' classic "Knockin' On Heaven's Door" all without spilling a drop of wine from his always in hand goblet. The crowd was then graced with Jane's "Mountain Song" and the Led Zeppelin's timeless classic "Whole Lotta Love." It was epic. Perry Farrell returned with some more very special surprise guests including fellow Jane's Addiction star Dave Navarro On 07-12-08.
