Instead of the soap operas they have now, I really wish WWE goes back to Heel vs Face cartoon-like characters like Honky and Macho. It's all fantasy anyway.

Honky was such a GREAT heel !!!
I hated him so much back then that I realize how much of a Great heel was today :)
And all out of promo and psychology...cause wrestling wise he was not that greeat...

And if you say it was all Vinnie Mac...then why weren't the Ultimate Warrior, Randy Savage, etc etc able to draw the same as Hogan did when he would take his movie or other sabbaticals? NO ONE else could have made wrestling as big as Hogan did. Period. You couldn't have substituted Magnum TA, Orndorff, Savage, Nikita Koloff, Lex Luger, etc etc and drawn what Hogan did. That's a slap in the face to the impact he had. McMahon didn't go after him as hard as he did for nothing.

You wanna crown Ric Flair the greatest wrestler ever...that's dubious. It's scripted. You wanna name the greatest FIGURE in pro wrestling history...it's not even close. His name is Hulk Hogan. Before smarks and work rate and five-star matches...all for a 'sport' that is predetermined...Hulk Hogan was drawing 33 million people on a FRIDAY NIGHT to watching wrestling on network TV. He was on the cover of Sports Illustrated, made it viable to watch on MTV, etc etc. No one has or will top his legacy

This is the best era in wrestling. Attitute comes in at a close second. But seriously any mid card wrestler from this era is a bonafide Legend. I hight doubt 5 years from now we'll remember R Truth!
