VBAC = Vaginal Birth after Cesarean, the cesarean rates in the US are getting much too high and the WHO (Word Health Organization) stated about half of cesareans are unnecessary. For more information on VBAC visit : www.ican-online.org

  • I have 2 c-sections before and went through the labor. Now, I am pregnant and wonder if you can have a vaginal birth if you have too many scar tissue. My doctor won't let me have another try for vaginal birth because my previous c-section, my uterus was so close to rupture.

  • @hmoobhawj1984 You could get a second opinion. How does he know your uterus was close to rupture? I would talk to a midwife or a family doctor and see what they have to say. You would probably be eligable.

  • I am considering a VBAC, but I've already scheduled a c section, This will be my third one. This is our last child, I would like to at least try vaginal birth one time.

  • Yes have you connected with an ICAN group or tried to find a midwife who takes VBA2C? You can do it!!! If you need any help email me. I am a chapter leader for ICAN.

  • in which you did your vbac ? i live in nyc i am looking for ob who supports vba1c

  • I had my VBAC in Nebraska. Its a lot easier to find an OB or midwife after one cesearan than multiple. (I would go with a midwife) Keep searching, it took me til 33 weeks to find one, they are out there!

  • Chloegone, have you connected with ICAN in your area? It's international cesarean awareness network, and an online support/info network - if you want to VBAC you can. You can do it. Appointments can be canceled, and have been for repeat c-sections! The women of ICAN will be able to tell you which providers in your area will support you.

  • Wow this gave me goosebumps!! Thank you for sharing... x

  • Great video. So inspiring! Thanks for sharing.

  • Thank you so much for this video and information! With tears rolling down my face I am so inspired by you! Thank God, I now have hope.

  • Thank you for your video and thank you for giving glory to God. I too had a vbamc. Three to be exact and without God and the wonderful women He placed around me, I would have been cut again.

  • This is so inspiring. Thank you so much for telling your story. You showed so much strength. Arguing with them for 3 hours? Yikes! I'm so happy for you that you did stand your ground. Almost like you had to go back to the "place of captivity" and tear down those walls of lies with your big-bad-laboring-self! Our amazing God helped you and you are amazing!

  • Thank u for posting this...i am in the same situation...i am due next month

  • I just saw your from Nebraska, can you private message me the hospital that let you attempt a VBA2C?! I'm in Ohio now, and my OB will let me attempt, but I'm afraid when we do get pregnant we will be moved back there (NE that is). I'm a good candidate for VBA2C, because my OB told me I have a strong uterus! I'm so happy you got the birth you dreamt of! Beautiful family too! :)

  • Thanks for posting this! I had 2 previous C-sections. Im 35 weeks pregnant and would really like to have this baby normal! This video gives me hope that I can do it, while the doctors I have spoken too told me I havea 0-40% chance of being able to do it and told me that was basically "no chance" I wanted to cry! After watching your video I believe I deserve a shot! Question is will they allow me! WIsh me luck!

  • How did you know what to do after the baby was born? We are planning a home birth after 3 C-sections!!
