Well played - people tell me Myrtle is a magical tone wood - do you agree?

@schmorker That's a tenor - myrtle wood. I've played dozens of other ukes from the best uke factories in the world and I still like my Mya-Moe better.

@schmorker I took my uke to the Station Inn on a Sunday night jam session - Halloween of '10, actually. I got a lot of skeptical looks on the way in, but a lot of "nice work" and "loved it" on the way out. Bluegrass ukulele!

Very impressive, both the playing and the ukulele....but, can you play Freebird?

That's the mark of a true musician, right? I digress. This has inspired me to save 10% of every ukulele lesson I teach and invest in a MyaMoe Myrtle Tenor. Just curious, do you have a pickup in yours? If so K&K or MiSi?  Thanks for playing so well and setting the bar very high.

The model is a Tradition. I love my Mya-Moe. I went to the NAMM show so I got to play all the ukes from all the big names but I like mine best.
