I programmed this limited Nintendo DS "clone" of my PC-oriented game "Super SpriteMan" with PALib and devkitPro. This specific game program was made from 500 lines of C code in mid-2009 (I was 15).

  • Ok. I will be critical toward your program as I am a developer myself. I saw that when you moved to the left, the sprite was still facing to the right. I do not know is this was intentional, but if it wasn't I would recommend using the PA_SetHflip(screen,sprite,0/1); // 0 if not using, and 1 if using

to fix that. So far there has not been any point in your production, but I will assume that your are still at an early stage in development, so I will not comment further.

  • @isaykatsman This demo wasn't meant to be much, I just wanted to give a quick try at NDS coding. If I remember correctly, I intentionally removed horizontal flip for esthetical reasons. Thanks for your feedback !

  • god i can't even get the program to work

  • @Earthium Which one(s) ?

  • Wow, that is very nice!

  • Sorry about what I said. Umm...

where did U download PALib cause i cant find it!!!

  • @Pokematrix247 I know, this isn't the first time this is said.

I find NDS programming rather hard, so getting a small

thing to work was a lot for me :)
