@Yurkowski35 My point is this isn't a 'dick measuring' contest seeing whose country has had it rougher. Poverty and cruelty doesn't discriminate race or nationality. Every Country has experienced and still experiences poverty and cruelty. (con't
@Yurkowski35 I know you commented on this along time ago but I have to disagree with you about how you assume Americans don't understand such poverty... We do. As a cop I see it everyday in my job and I'm horrified how people can harm and abuse others w/o a care in the world. I also see many individuals who gained strength and triumphed, overcoming disabilities and poverty.
@Yurkowski35 We draw strength from our families and country and overcome disabilities, poverty and cruelty. Being strong and progressive is the only real way to overcome anything.
I'm glad to hear about your brother and he is a stronger person because of it. It's really good to see people triumph like your brother and you should be extremely proud of him
I myself am from Moscow, my brother from Baby House 10. Americans far from understand such poverty, nor what strength it takes to overcome such disability. My brother himself sat in the same chair this young man did. My brother had a stroke at birth, and now is an extremely successful young man. Having overcome his disability, attending college at the top of his class. Many children for years mocked and demeaned him, and now they are below him.
Hi! I come from Italy Naples...I as John was been adopted when I was 4 in Sankt Peterburg....I'd read his book I've cried 'cause I was been in different "baby house" and I know what are the feelings when you are there...in those places...it's terrible!
