This video belongs to a thesis in which the three filters were studied, tunned for this aplication on a single-degree-of-freedom Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU); and then compared.

It may be seen that complementary filters has a smooth but slow response.
the kalman filter is too sensitive to enviromental noise, but quick response.
the extended kalman filter meets the too assets of the previous too.
