If you've been counting down the days till Thursday's VMAs on MTV, here's an important heads up -- MTV has moved the awards show to an hour earlier time slot to avoid conflict with President Obama's DNC speech. According to Entertainment Weekly, the VMAs will now run from 8-10pm Eastern time, with the president's speech scheduled after 10pm.
