  • @Elidhan Yes, it was spread from England across the world, but even the English version is very different from American English. It is like the difference between northern and southern France. Same language, vital differences. While it is true that I should have said American English, I didn't realize at the time that I would have to be that specific. So let me reiterate, AMERICAN English sounds like shit compared to most other languages. It is halting and slow.

  • @Elidhan Funny that was under the very same impression. Curse those damn history teachers.

  • @BloodRose1141 Seems like I was misinformed, that is a real shame.

I was under the impression that the english language originated from England and was spread by the british empire through their very aggressive expansion during the colonial era. According to these false informations I had, the United States used to be just one of the many english colonies established during that period.

Shows what I know, curse my history teacher for teaching me all that false stuff.

  • Man, why does english sound like shit compared to every other language? Stupid america.

  • 0 gillar inte. thumbs up :)

  • @Nickeshake Enough forr a psychologist to be able to work with one? lol

  • @DremordDrale Actually, we have mandatory english studies from when we're about 10 years old or so. So most of us swedes do know a word or two. :-)

  • Thumbs up if you're here because of Mini Best Test Drive Ever.

  • @BrutalChild Where at? Sweden? America? Britian?
