Wow! That worked! My problem was that I used "net use v://vboxsvr/share", but actually it should be "net use v: //vboxsvr/share", i.e. with space after "v:"
But in the last versions of virtualbox there is something like "auto-connect" in the dialog when you adding share folder.

I dont have the "shared folders" in my virtualbox window
where i can put it back :(

but there is another easier way
which is....... go to.... Computer >>>tools>>>Map network driver>>>choose the driver name>>> then browser to find the shared folder you have chosen to be your shared folder ......... Enjoy

how do I transfer files from the guest os to the host? Apparently I don't have permission to put files on the shared folders on the guest os. Do you know a solution for this?

@AnImmortalEra you may need to be an administrator. Try it as one and see if that works.

did you install any add-ons? because you can easily access the mouse in the virtual box, because mine i have to click the virtual box.. where did you download the add-ons? also do you know how to make the resolution higher in the guest OS? im currently using windows 7 and guest OS is windows xp.. tnx

@rahztee I don't have any add-ons installed in the program itself, but I do in the virtual OS. I think virtualbox has an option to install the add-ons somewhere. I use vmware player now, it's free and installs the add-ons automatically. Plus it's way better.

Thank you so much dude, I've just give up trying to do the other way where people say "right click my network places and click on map network drive"... That didn't work for me! Thanks again!
