Not true. I have seen my electric bill go down by almost 20% using TXU. I am paying average around $109-$129 month for electricity. Back in the late 80s and 90s when there was only supplier, I paid average $300-$400 month. So you tell me.

Our TV stations here in Texas are being flooded with these "new TXU" commercials. Last week the company was fined $210million for gaming the supply side of the grid; today they threatened to shut down some of their powerplants. They learned well from Enron. Electric deregulation is such a sham; our rates have doubled in less than 5 years. If your state is thinking of deregulation, you MUST protest it.
