Injured workers who become disabled as a result of their employment are being tortured to death. Canadian Workers Compensation Insurance boards are disobeying a direct order of the Supreme Court of Canada to compensate (provide medical care for) disabled inured workers suffering from Chronic Pain. Chronic Pain is a life threatening illness causing depression and sleep deprivation,and more. Injured workers are being suicided to get rid of the corporations financial and medical responsibilities.

Everyone: I just wrote a letter to my congressman, urging him to improve our health system, and I haven't lived in the US for 4 years (though still a US citizen). If I can do something, so can you. If you walk out of Sicko hoping that you'll get better health care, but then do nothing, then you will have wasted the momentum created by this film. We must act now if we want change!

even in germany you can see a trend for americanization:
recently a chief surgeon bought a hospital for 50,000€ (state-owned, forced to close).
as predicted, he tuned the ex-healthcare-center for profit.
since he has stingy with antibiotics, ordered and performed unnecessary expensive chirugical treatments and was - on top - incompetent, the hospital managed to accumulate a record number of casualties among the patients.
oh the joys of profit-oriented health-care

I wouldn't have minded if the movie had scrolled the complete list from start to finish.
But he probably had to cut at the section with the sexual diseases or else the movie would have to be rated ...
