Grow your Hair with Weave/Wigs

* * * January 2011 Update * * *
My apologies for the confusion over how much growth the pictures show. Unfortunately, the pictures are not perfectly aligned. The pic on the left is higher than the pic on the right. Hence, making it appear that I grew more than 2". The pics were taken 4 months apart making it difficult to get an exact angle, zoom, etc.

I grew and retained 2" in 4 months.

The best way for me to retain length is by wearing an instant weave/half wig. I do this in the winter to protect my own hair and retain length.

@princessfly11 yeah but the point is you can't grow and retain your growth if you don't wear protective styles which is what the wig/weave is for..I noticed my hair did retain it's new growth while wearing quick weaves, after the braids took so much of my hair out after growing it out, so i started wearing quick weaves too except I didn't know about taking proper care of it, but now I have the other half of the success regime.

@KerryCObihara Oops, let me clarify- I meant I continually had sew in extensions for a year. I took them down, washed, and trimmed my hair every two months, but I would immediately just get sew in extensions within a few days of taking my old ones out :-)

2 inches in four months is not a lot. It's good but it's not a the optimal growth that it can reach. Anyway, your hair is gorgeous so who cares lol ^_^

I agree when you leave your hair alone that is when it grows!!!!(That is why people with dreads have the longest Hair)

@Babezlifes ... You ever though maybe the BG is the same because its the most convenient spot in the home, and the shirt is just to help people see the difference in the same view, people do the same thing for weight loss.
