I'm using Fedora 14 on the same tablet as well these days. It's an IBM/Lenovo x61, the model with the built-in wacom tablet and high-res display (1400x1050.) Since they are 3 years old at this point they can be had pretty cheaply. Note that they are pen tablet only though - no touch. I love mine.

I have tried several live cd's but none has standard flash installed. But i like KDE .

well, its still not as good as kde 4.4. for the touchscreens, qt 4.6 did a very great job, you know, kinetic scrolling, multitouch, it just feels that kde and plasma is better suited for tablets imho.
