Mega Man 8 - Search Man's Stage

Now onto this little stage. Search Man's stage is kind of annoying... There are some points where the graphics actually end up affecting gameplay, and this was done on purpose... What happens is, the level is designed so the foreground blocks your view in some areas. Of course, Capcom hides some enemies in these areas, so yeah... Other than that, this stage has quite a few enemies, especially in the second half. There are some neat platforming sections, though, and it really is not all bad. There is also a room with the swarming birds... I hate those things... and they are more annoying in this game than they were in Mega Man and Bass just to make things worse! The stage does feature a neat little mini-boss specific to the Sega Saturn version, though. In the Playstation version you just teleport right to the next section.

Search Man himself could be worse. It is possible to avoid all of his attacks, as shown by Roahm in his buster only, no damage run of the stage. The Flame Sword makes things easier, though, as you can stop Search Man's homing attack before the cursors even get a chance to lock on.He is not all that hard of a fight, but there is a lot going on, so it is pretty easy to take a hit or several.

@garchomp618 Yes. Wily created him to be a master genius havin' two brains, which instead he gave Search Man only one, making his speech patterns going from head to another, making him more of a clown than a threat. :)
