Shame there is very little country music left, its Nashville pop. I miss the days back in Maryland drinking beer smoking and wearing out the juke box in an ice cold air conditioned bar when its 100 degrees out side. Simple country living but some great times

Oh Boy!, how I agree wiyh you, it is so bad that I wish they would not call it Country Music....... the bubble gum cookie cutter music, that is pure Pop, and not good Pop even, that is coming out on the airwaves. It's sad, because a good Country song will not get played on the radio.

TRUE Country. I wonder if people like Garth Brooks, Carrie Underwood, or Taylor Swift would feel anything when listening to a song like this -the tradition they helped to destroy.

Johnny is missed. I'll never forget when I first did studio work with him in Beaumont. He broke out his Silvertone guitar. I figured he was in a tight spell and offered my Telecaster. He said he prefered the sound of the Silvertone on recordings, but wouldn't use it for live shows. Thanks for the song...
